I’m OLD…

I had some at home projects to take care of today, so I didn’t go out much. I trimmed the lawn, which I find sort of calming, in a strange way. I like the way it looks after it’s been trimmed and it’s all even. I like digging too, and weeding. I guess gardening in general is pretty calming. I feel old, saying that, because my grandmother likes gardening for the same reason. I could never understand it, when I was younger I didnt want anything to do with the garden.
Its funny how, as we get older, we start to enjoy things that we never enjoyed before. Even some foods taste better now. I’m more willing to eat certain vegetables now, even though I hate vegetables in general. My favorite pizza is a vegetarian type pizza, with pesto sauce instead of red sauce. I guess its all a part of getting older.
I’m watching Saturday Night Live as I’m typing this in. I don’t find too many of the sketches to be funny, but I do enjoy the cheerleaders, and I also like the two women that do the public radio show sketch. I think they are funny. It takes alot to make me laugh, perhaps a chuckle or two, but outright laughter only comes with the blooper shows, or very funny sitcoms.
Sorry that this entry is so haphazard, but I’m feeling a little tired right now, and my thoughts aren’t all that collected. I don’t know what I’m going to do tomorrow either…perhaps I’ll take a hike, we’ll see.
