Random Rework…
Site News: I’ve reworked a few things with the page. Overall, I like the look of the page, but wanted to keep with the random thoughts, words and pictures theme that I originally started with. Let me know if you like the change.
My friend called today, about four o’clock, to tell me he had two tickets to see “Cowboy Junkies”, whoever they are. The problem is that I’d have to travel extremely far to get to the concert, and I don’t really like to do things that strenuous during the work week. When did I get old?
I love the new Fastball CD I bought recently, the songs are all very good, and I really like the “Outta My Head” song. Can you ruin a CD from playing it too much? I also read the entire book, First Person Plural, in just a couple of day, which is really fast for me. Reading about this guys multiple personalities was extremely interesting.
I signed up for classes yesterday, at the local college. I attended college from 1991 to 1994, and then work began to take over my life, so I never completed my degree. I went in and asked them what I needed, and it turns out I just need about four classes. My fall semester will consist of a Political Science class and a Spanish class. They’ll go from 7PM to 10PM, and will take place twice a week.
I get to leave work early tomorrow, because we have a company picnic from noon to 4PM. Meaning I’ll leave the picnic at 2PM, just enough to make an appearance and eat. I’d rather not spend too much off time with co-workers.
