I’m one sick dog!!
I’m sick!
I’ve been so lucky to not catch something besides the fact that everyone at work has been coughing and sneezing in my face.
Yesterday I was feeling very tired, but didnt feel any symptoms … so I just thought it was Friday related. I even left work half an hour early to catch a few ZZZZ’s before the christmas party.
Well, I got to the Great American Music Hall and gave a valet my keys … walked in got a raffle ticket from “Elf-vira” and said hi to a few people … then the “illness” came to me. Well, her name is … just kidding, that’s not nice.
Actually, this girl who had been really sick came up to me and was standing really close to me … probably because of the loud music. I’m sure whatever I had, along with her germs … so we talked about how no one knew anyone else and then I got a drink and sat down … where I stayed for the rest of the night.
I was joined by my coworkers and we had a good time.. of course both of them are engaged, so guess what the topic revolved around …
I left around 10:30PM … just feeling too tired and sick to go on any longer.
Now I’ve got chills and my throat feels like I swallowed a block of sandpaper … I’m sick!
My friend Les picked up his girlfriend Cindy from the airport today. She went from Tonga (a peace corps thing) to New Zealand, then a flyover to Los Angeles, where she caught the flight to San Francisco.
She was very tired and not really thrilled to be back … after two years away … she doesnt want to get back into the routine … I figure it’s bound to happen.
Tonga, a place with few cars … no major highways where she was, and nothing really fancy around. She lived in a small hut with cockroaches and pigs running around … but also a very easy lifestyle … San Francisco is practically the complete opposite.. we’ll just wait and see what happens.
I tried to do some studying today … even drove out to the beach and sat in the car with the radio going … taking down notes on all the final exam questions … I manged to get through half of them before I began to feel light-headed and had to head home for some rest. That means I’ll be studying tomorrow..
I have to stop by a brunch tomorrow morning … probably just to drop off the gift, a generation girl barbie for a needy kid. I’ll probably leave immediately … my bones aches.
Anyone know how to massage me? Every bone and joint aches …
What are your favorite online stores to look at or shop from? I need some ideas for the new store I have to build.. and I’m drawing a blank.
I have time … I’m sure I’ll come up with something, but any help is welcome.
I still dont feel good … I need someone to make me warm and rub my back … remember a happy Greg makes a happy … something, I dont know, I cant even think of something good.
Well, Krysten said she’d hop on the first seven-hour flight over to bring me some chicken soup … see someone likes me. And I even got a card from Krysten … so Krysten gets lots of links in tonights journals … Krysten, Krysten, Krysten.
Hey Jane, Remember Second Grade – Krysten
As for the mail front, I’ve gotten Sheena’s present (Thank you! I love the magnets muchly!) and Greg’s card. I went out and bought Miss Laini’s pressent today. I hope she likes it. Iggy loved her gift. I made her day. Whee!
Did I mention that you should visit Krysten’s site?
