Plays Well With Others

Boxes and more …

So, how does one segue from circumcision to something else? Well, who the hell knows, all I know is that I dont have anything to talk about, but felt a need to get a new entry in here. I just couldnt bare to leave the other one up too much longer; people might think I’m a big potty mouth or something.

Although I do feel good helping someone out, now “J” knows all about her boyfriend not being circumcized.

So, tonight I skipped my class to spend the night boxing up my belongings. I rented a uHaul for Saturday, which means I sort of have to crunch to get everything packed by that point. I have only a few boxes moved into the new place, and so much furniture to still move.

Moving is such a chore. Just imagine having to box up everything you own, move it into somewhere foreign and then have to unpack it and feel at home. Yikes!

Anyhow, at this point I’m just tossing things randomly into boxes … and will have to figure it out on the weekend, and still be ready for Monday. I dont know how I’ll do it, I am so stressed out at this point.

This morning as I was approaching my office building, I passed all these trailers, and movie camera, and lights set up down this street I take. They were getting ready to film in front of this house on the corner.

I didnt see any celebrities, but everyone thinks it was Don Johnson filming “Nash Bridges” because supposedly he does alot of filming in the area. I thought it would be cool to see something, anything, anyone. Perhaps Don, or Cheech, or maybe Yasmine, but I didnt see anyone but film people.

So, here is my plan of action for the next few days. I’ll be packing at some points, and going to the apartment at other points, and by the weekend I should be moved in and ready to get back to normal.

Oh normal, normal, normal; I look so forward to getting back to normal. Our phone lines are set up, our electricity is up, and our cable will be up and running on Saturday.

I spent last night at the apartment, helping Kara with shopping, and then we put her futon bed together. It wasn’t really difficult to put together, just this one screw we couldnt turn. We both took turns trying to screw but neither of us could get it to work. She couldnt even get it in the hole at first, but once in she started screwing it and then it stopped, so I jumped in and screwed a little and then it stopped for good. So the screw is halfway sticking out.

Welcome back, Tim from New Yawk. I know when I was there this summer, I thoroughly enjoyed myself and must’ve walked ten thousand miles in just a week. But I got all my sites in, including the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty, and all the rest.

And lucky Tim even got to see some snow while he was at it, how fun is that.

For those of you I usually see on ICQ, well I’ve taken a break from doing all of that for just a little while. I’ve been so busy at work, and then at home that anything extra just doesnt fit in.

My new hook at work is listening to the radio through the internet. I think I mentioned how if you download a trial version of RealPlayer 7, you can get radio stations from all over the world, and what’s better is that they come in clearer than the radio station that transmits out here. I love my ALICE radio, but it gets scrambly in our concrete buiding, so it off to VirginRadio UK on the internet, or Diskjockey.com. Woohoo!! I haven’t turned my radio on all week.

Well, this is a good time for you to catch up on archives or something. I’ll get back into the swing of journal writing, once I’m all settled into the new apartment.

I can spell my whole name with one hand:

g r e g b a r b e r

Can you? Am I special? Do I have too much time on my hands?
