Off again, on again …

I can’t get into the swing of updating this thing anymore. I get so busy and then just dont have time to do an entry. Of course, then I have some time to relax, and the last thing I want to do is an entry. I just dont want to be near the computer, when I have some down time.

It’s almost funny. I mean alot of journalers are like this. When we are actually busy and have things to talk about, we are too busy to find time to do an entry. Then, when things calm down, we can’t remember anything.

At this point, I can’t even remember what the last entry said. I know Wednesday was my spanish class, and that was a blast.

Doreen, Michelle and I decided to do a study session on Monday night, so we’d be ready for the test on Wednesday. Seems studying in groups is supposed to be helpful or something.

That means this weekend, I’ll have to finish the workbook section that is due Wednesday before the test. We’ll probably be using those workbook pages to study from. I dont like doing homework, especially on the weekends … or during the week. It’s a waste of my time.

That’s just a piece of my thrilling weekend. Are you jealous yet?

I’ll also be getting my armoire moved this weekend, to the apartment. I dont know if Ive written about this, but the computer armoire weighs six hundred pounds or so, and neither I nor Les can move it from where it is.

So, my sisters ex-boyfriend and a friend of his will be moving the armoire for me. I dont know if they realize what they are getting into here, but he agreed to it, so I dont care how they do it. He’s just eager to get in good with my sister, so he’ll do anything for any of us.

I know, I suck. I’m using the poor fella for my own good, but he shouldnt be so eager. I’m probably going to give him $100 anyway, just for doing it.

I’m just eager to get it up there, because I have some organizing to do, and that will help so much. There is so much crap lying around my house that could fit in there and be put away, like my printer and scanner that is in the living room right now.

Did any of you see Kathie Lee Gifford on Dave Letterman last night? I made a point of staying up, because she was the first woman to ever host his show, which is a little bit of Late Show history in the making.

She was actually pretty good, and did a song making fun of herself.

Today was payday, and I got my first check with my raise in it, plus a second check with the back pay they owed me from the raise. It was alot of money, thats all I can say.

My checkbook overfloweth. So now I’m going to pay some bills and be as poor as I was in the first place. But it’s nice to see some bigger numbers showing up on that check.

Krysten gave me my second journal question of the day, which any of you can give me by sticking it in the box in the right hand column.

Is anyone still reading this, by the way? Sometimes, I dont thing so … maybe cause I hardly ever update.

Anyhow, the question of the day is whether I’ve ever met anyone famous? So, living in San Francisco and having a cousin that worked in Hollywood, and even made appearances on Married with Children, Dynasty, along with some others.

The answer would be sort of. I’ve met Brian Dennehy in New York last summer, when I saw the Death of a Salesman. I spoke to him and he was great about signing autographs. During the same trip, I spoke to Florence Henderson (Mrs. Brady), and the Today show people, Matt Lauer, Katie Couric, Al Roker, and Anne Courey, while Geraldo passed behind me. Also met Maury Povich during a taping of his show.

You can also meet people in San Francisco, like Woody Allen, who I didnt actually meet, but stood two feet from when I passed him getting into his car, after a radio concert, where I saw Jewel, Smashmouth, and Flemming and John. I’ve met tons of local celebrities, and of course, everyone see’s Sharon Stone and Robin Williams around town.

So, yeah, I’ve sort of met some celebrities.

If anyone is reading this, maybe you could share your run ins with celebrities … it would be fun to hear about it. I’ll even publish your experience in here … plus it’ll help me fill a journal page … so get to writing.
