I haven’t done an entry in awhile and I dont really know why not. Its not that nothing has been going on, but more that I guess I’ve been busy and kind of forgot to do an entry. Sorry.
I’ve been trying to switch servers that my pages are hosted on, so if I suddenly disappear its not that I hate you or that I’m shutting down, but more that my pages are being changed over.
Anyhow, projects at work have been hard and heavy. Also, there was a big group of people “laid off”. About fourteen, including some people I worked with. Pretty sad and scary at the same time, but I’ve been assured my job is secure. Thats what they all say though, right before they take a sledge hammer to your head.
I have my resume all typed up, just in case. I recently saw a job offer for a similar position to mine. The pay would be somewhere between $70 – $100k. What the hell am I doing again at Snowball.com, when there is money like that out there? Someone remind me.
Anyway.. my plan is to finish up the project I’m currently working on, get that up on my resume, and then start looking for something that pays more … a HELL of alot more.
I need to pay bills you know. 🙂 Whoever said money doesn’t make the world go around, never lived in San Francisco.
