Katie has left the building …
well, she’s left St. Louis, packed up her stuff and is following her heart and heading to Virginia, where she wants to start a new stage in her life. Of course, as I’ve stated a million times, I support any decision she makes and wish her all the best. Anyone who follows their heart and is willing to accept the results of making your own decisions, should be supported.
Everyone has to find their independence at some point. Everyone has to get out from under their parents control at some point. Everyone has to be willing to make mistakes and accept that sometimes people make mistakes, and the world doesnt come crashing down around them … it’s okay to make mistakes and the world will keep on spinning, and the days will keep on moving forward. Dust yourself off and get past it.
Katie, enjoy your newfound independence, be careful when you cross the street, dont get in cars with strangers, and most of all have the time of your life. You’ll remember this day forever.
