Serving dinner for friends is

Serving dinner for friends is a hell of alot of work.. it’s much easier just eating at their house. Well, its my turn to finally host a dinner, so I’m having three friends over for a small get together, especially since my roommate is gone.

I’ve been cleaning all day and slicing and dicing so things will be easy to throw together once they get here. It’s alot harder to have a get together when you are old like me. Damn, when we were teenagers we’d spontaneously get together at someone’s house, sit around and listen to music or talk or watch TV and eat whatever we could find in our parents house. No one cared whether the bathroom was clean or you had clean towels … we’d just plop down on someone’s sofa and that would be that.

But it should be fun, it’s been about a year since the four of us will be in one room at the same time.
