Mortality …
I go to pick up mail at my POBox about three or four times a week. I’m usually greeted by one of the owners, a husband and wife team. Well, today I walked in and the owner told me that his wife’s mother had passed away. It was strange because I’d just seen her a couple of days earlier.
The mother, who lives in the Phillipines, had come to visit for a week or so. Yesterday they were taking her to the airport to get her back home and had just boarded one of those moving sidewalk things. Suddenly she fell down and just died. Seems she had a massive heart attack right there and died in the airport.
What’s strange is that she had been feeling well. The woman was about 70 years old and feeling good and suddenly just drops dead. It’s kind of scary in a way. Anyhow, I thought I’d share that.
