Um, really, I dont know you …
I’ve been getting AOLed by some young kids that seem to think they know me. In fact, they insist they know me from their Social Studies class. There are two of them at this point, but there could be more.
I spent half an hour today trying to explain that I’m not in Social Studies and that I know neither of them. They didnt seem to care. “Yes, I do know you!” “Um, no you don’t” “Yes I do” “Do NOT!” “Do SO!” Ack!
I asked what school we went to, and she wouldnt tell me over the internet. I asked what I looked like, and she wouldnt tell me over the internet. Um, okay, so you know me from school but you wont talk to me about anything.
In the end I did the only grown-up thing I could think of … I sent them warnings on AOL. That should fix them.
