Whats this world coming too?
After class last night I had the urge to splurge. Actually, I was starving and decided that rather than waiting to get home and eat, I’d stop at McDonalds and grab the usual Big Mac meal. I like the Big Mac meal. You get your fries which are a great treat for the drive home. They are wonderfully salty … mmmmm. Then you have your drink, which is a great complement to the fries. It helps wash down those salty fries. Then when I get home, all I have to eat is the burger with that scrumptuous special sauce, even though we all know its thousand island dressing.
Anyhow, back to my McDonalds trip. I walked in and stood staring at something I didnt expect. The menu had new items on it. There is a new Bigger cheeseburger with bacon, and a new chicken sandwich with ranch dressing and bacon. I couldnt resist and just had to try out the chicken sandwich … and it was good. The Big Mac still slightly edges out this new chicken sandwich but its going to be one of those hard choices. I’m a sucker for a good chicken sandwich.
On another note … I’ve gained five pounds since I’ve been laid off. I’ve actually saved a ton of money but I’ve gained five pounds. I dont even eat that much during the day and somehow I’ve gained five pounds. That sucks. Where’s my McDonalds.
