You like tea … ?

Here’s some wedding planning stuff for you all to chew on. Wifey™ and I are trying to plan a wedding, from one side of my country to the other side of hers. My mom is doing alot of the leg work and passing the information onto us. It’s working out quite well.

So far, we’ve ordered Wifey™’s wedding dress. It’s at a site called Bridesave.com and we were pretty psyched to find it. This way we both get to look at it and then choose one. I think it’s nice …

We’ve also chosen a spot for the wedding ceremony. It’s at a park near my apartment and they have this gorgeous Japanese Tea Garden that we can use. Basically, we pay a refundable deposit incase anyone stomps on their plants and they’ll close the place down just for us. We have a few hours to do our thing, take some photos and be on our way. It’s a really nice garden with bridges and a nice pond with fish and japanese houses all over the place. It’s going to make for nice photos.

Lastly, we are close to choosing a restaurant. I happen to like the first one we chose, which is in an upstairs room with a view of the city and the water. The building was part of the San Francisco Worlds Fair, and was moved to its current location on top of a hill by horses and mules in the earlier part of the last century. It hasn’t been confirmed yet though, so we will see if anything better comes up.

Overall, everything is going well. I haven’t had to do too much of the work. Everyone is so excited, you’d think it was their wedding. When it all happens, we’ll take photos and post em up for you all.
