Exercise … um, no Don’t you

Exercise … um, no

Don’t you ever look at those muscular people and just think “wow, they are so buff, I wish I could do that”. Yeah, me neither.

I’ve never really liked doing things that involved exercise. In school they’d make us run and jump and do push ups and hang off of metal bars but I never liked it, I just did it because they told me to. I’ve run marathons and done the AIDSwalk for fun without a problem, but never did anything to prepare myself for it.

Now I’m at a point where my metabolism has slowed way way down and its looking more and more like exercise is in my future. The horror. So, I’m trying to figure out what kind of exercise I could do that would be the least amount of work and would actually be fun to do. I suppose I could buy a bike and ride around town. I could even bike to work if I had the urge … like that would hit me.

I tried push ups but thats boring, I tried sit ups and that didnt keep me entertained too long. Most of the exercises I find are for legs and arms, which mine are just fine. I need an exercise for the abs area, and can’t find one. My sister has an AbRoller which I tried and it actually felt like it was working. Of course the next day, my stomach hurt so much that I could barely move. I guess thats the point.

Anyhow … anyone have any suggestions?
