… and the job search ends
After approximately five months out of work, I’ve finally been offered a position with a big, stable company. Woohoo. Its a financial company with tons of dull financial forms that need to be created, and I’ll be doing it. At least I’ll be making money … more money than I made at Snowball, a very big plus. Also, the building is about ten minutes from my house, so I’m giving thought to buying a bike, so I can bike to work. And their building is brand spanking new with a new cafeteria, workout room and tons of lush space, all to ourselves. Like a kid in a candy shop. The new job begins next Monday, and tomorrow I have an appointment for an orientation and a drug test, along with getting fingerprinted. You’d think it was a job with the FBI, but its just a company dealing with securities and money market accounts.
Yay for me, the search is finally over.
