Good jealousy vs. bad jealousy …
There’s two kinds of jealousy – good and bad.
Good jealousy is when someone pays attention to you and your significant other gets a little jealous and makes sure that other someone knows you are attached. Good jealousy is good for a relationship. It shows that you care about each other and that you dont want someone else grabbing onto your significant other or you’ll have slap the bitch. Erm..
Bad jealousy on the other hand is detrimental to a relationship. This kind of jealousy tends to have to do with trust and fidelity. It often comes out when your significant other constantly asks if you that person at work, or that person you sit next to, or that person you talked about is pretty and if you’d do her. It tends to turn into constant questions about whether you are attracted to someone else, and ends up turning into accusations or something similar. It ends up destroying a relationship.
Most relationships can thrive on a little of the good jealousy, because it shows you care. If you didnt care about who your significant other was spending time with, you would be jealous and therefore why be together. Of course, then there are people like me that just don’t get that jealous of anything. For the most part, I’m just a trusting person when it comes to my significant other. I wouldnt be with someone I couldnt trust, it’s that simple. And, one of my rules for the relationship to keep going is that there has to be trust. Without it – everything will end.

Hmmm…. I used to be not overly jealous, but overly paranoid — there’s a difference. I’m not really anymore, and I’m not the jealous type, unless something happens. Now, if some ho came up and started hitting on Eric or something, I’d get a little jealous… and probably want to punch her in the face. As for some jealousy being good — hell yeah.
