Plays Well With Others

I miss having old Clinton around …

It may sound strange, but I miss having Bill as President. He was a good President, despite his personal life. He did alot of good for this country, we had a good economy and peopel were happy. Now we have Dubya, and I can just feel America going into a recession. Things suck right now, and I’m going to blame it on him. Just because.

Anyhow, seem like Clinton has had a hard first six months out of office and trying to figure out how to live like a “normal” person. He’s been in some kind of office position for the last thirty years. Here’s an excerpt from a recent Washington Post article:

“At the same time, a politician who spent the past 22 years being catered to in a governor’s mansion and the White House is learning, sometimes clumsily, to manage the daily details of life. Accompanying Clinton to an automated teller machine, one aide saw that he was keeping a balance of a million dollars in an ordinary checking account. Terence McAuliffe, a close friend, recalled Clinton dropping off the line three times during a conversation while he fumbled to use his portable phone. When the basement in his Chappaqua home flooded, badly damaging a rare book collection that Clinton treasured, his home insurer told him to get over it; basement floods weren’t covered.”

Ugh.. we need to find something for him to do. The article does state that he’s planning on getting back into public life talking about the things he cares about most.

I miss him.

Whatever, like I want to be you or something.Plus yours is totally different. It’s about him being around through your formative years. Reagan was my formative years President. Err. I think there’s room for all of us to write an “I miss Clinton” entry, because we should miss him. He played the sax, the listened to Fleetwood Mac, he gave us a great economy and showed us that Presidents can be ‘cool’. Probably alot how people felt about JFK, another young President. Their personal lives aren’t always clean and tidy, but who cares if they are a good chief exec.Ugh.. I want Clinton back. I remember the elder Bush and he nearly ruined our country. Imagine was little daddy’s boy is going to do to us. Just look at our economy…
