Financial Aid…
The financial aid for the Tsunami victims is going up, up, up. And rightly so. It’s nice to see the world coming together to help these hard hit areas.
As I sat here reading another story about the dollars being sent from the United States, it got me to thinking… I wonder if the world would be so generous, if such a catastrophe happened in the United States? We’ve had our fair share of natural disasters… and some not so natural and, at least on my news station, I don’t hear much about the world coming together raising funds to help us out. Of course, the United States news doesn’t really give us much in terms of World News anyhow. Just wondering, though… anyone know of any instance when the world joined together to raise money for the United States… and anyone think it would ever happen?
