Battery Acid…
I’m sick. The cough began last night, so I got out of bed and grabbed some cough syrup from the cabinet. Can someone please explain to me the logic behind making this shit taste like battery acid? It’s supposed to do all this miraculous shit and get rid of your cough, soothe your throat, clear the mucous. Sounds great on the box, so you swallow one teaspoon and you feel like your insides are being burned off inch by inch. Ugh.
I know they can add flavoring at the pharmacy, but why not just start off with it tasting good in the first place. Is that too much to ask???

Ugh, no wonder you’re all crabby.
I have some Rx cough syrup with codeine in it somewhere… you should try THAT shit. It doesn’t taste as nasty as some of the other stuff, but every time I take it, I end up in a cold sweat, dizzy, and then I throw up. But on the bright side, it gets rid of the cough. 🙂
