Plays Well With Others

Catching Up…

Well due to some database issues, I lost the last two entries and don’t feel like putting them back up for the umpteenth time, so oh well. I’m sure the Livejournalers have read them already since I uploaded them a million times already. Ugh. Anyhow things seem fairly stable at this point and I feel comfortable posting entries again.

For anyone looking for some streaming tunes, listen to MaxFM online. Daddy likes. They play a good mix of 70’s, 80’s and today and don’t play the same song twice in the same day. Think of it as your radio iPod and with streaming ANYONE can listen to it anywhere in the world.

With the plugs aside, you might (or might not) be wondering what I’ve been up to aside from getting my database up and running. Well, last Thursday was our 4th wedding anniversary. So what did we party people do, you might (or might not) ask? Well, Wifey™ worked until late into the night and I… didn’t. I mostly hung around the house doing some freelance work. I guess that’s what four years does to you.

The next day we glammed it up a bit and attended a family wedding. As usual, I post all pictures at the photo site, so check them out there. It was a nice day, we were all gussied up and on top of the world. I’m not kidding. From my house, you can see this mountain in the distance. It’s really high. Well, we were at the top of it. There’s a winery up there. A little over half an hour up windy roads, you finally reach an area where there are no more mountains and it’s just flat. That’s because the mountains are all below you at this point. Ugh. Felt like 10,000 feet in the air. But the sunny day gave a great view of the whole world.

The part of the weekend was spent in The City, in the shopping district. We just happeneed to arrive while the Blue Angels were doing an air show overhead, so it was fairly entertaining hearing this squadron of jets flying over doing maneuvers. That’s something you never see in San Francisco.

Other than that, it’s been mostly working on some personal website projects and freelance work. And the holidays are right around the bend. Ugh.
