Paying Teachers…
One of the first things most politicians will propose when running for office is to raise teacher’s salaries. Why? It’s easy and it gets the teachers unions on their side. The simple truth is that when asked, most people will say, “teachers don’t get paid enough”. And then that’s about the end of it. I’d be willing to bet, though, that these same people would also say that THEY don’t get paid enough either. Very few people think they get paid enough.
