Vacation Days…
It’s been a few days since my last post. I tried to upload photos with the entries, but the 46k dial-up I’m on just freaks out at the mere mention of uploading a photo. So, the photos will have to come in an entry when I return…using my high-speed broadband connection.
The past few days have been fun. We’ve visited quite a few of Wifey™’s old friends and over the weekend took a hike with her brother and his girlfriend. Now when I say hike, I use the term loosely because it was pretty much climbing up the side of a mountain on a path of wet, muddy boulders trying not to kill ourselves. There was no path, just a river bed that could be used to make your way up to the top. Our roundtrip excursion was a 12.6km hike up and down the mountain that took over fours hours. To say we were sore the next day would be an understatement.
We’ve also taken a short trip into Montreal where we saw the Old Port area and another trip to Sainte Sauveur to see some of the touristy shops. Today, it’ll be off to Mont Tremblant where we’ll spend the night and see the sights. And then Thursday, we’ll make the trip up to Quebec City to see the historic downtown area.
I’ll do more in-depth once I get home, but for now this will probably be my last entry of the trip until I get home.

OMG….DIAL-UP?
I used to try to play an online game with dial-up. Let’s just say that I died a lot.
Yeah. If there’s a hell, it’s got a dial-up connection. I remember back in the late 80’s when I first went online, I had a 3200bps modem and would have to leave my computer on all night to download stuff.
Ugh. Not fun.
