Election Day 2006…
I wish I could say it’s all up to the American people at this point, but like many other American’s, I just can’t be certain that there won’t be something sinister going on behind the scenes to make sure votes are swayed one way or another. I know this election will be the most watched and probably scrutinized, after the stolen and fraudulent elections in 2000 and 2004. Everything I’ve read regarding the recent glitches in the voting machines, unsurprisingly all give the Republicans an advantage—even when a person is voting for a Democrat. Crazy and blatant.
Regardless, go out and vote. Call ahead and verify your voting location, even if you’ve received a call telling you it’s changed or worse that you’ll be arrested if you show up. Those are all tactics to supress your voice. Go out and vote, and don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t. It’s one right they can’t take away.
That said, there are places where you can talk about your voting experience and problems that might have crept up, as provided by Daily Kos:

Also, at 6PM the polling locations close in Indiana and Kentucky. At 7PM, in Virginia, New Hampshire, Vermont, Florida, Georgia and South Carolina. At 7:30, in Ohio, North Carolina and West Virginia. And then by 8PM EST, it should be all news all the time.
