Mineshaft Weddings…
A chinese coal mining company has made headlines by holding ten weddings, 1000 feet down a mineshaft. One blushing bride said, “Marrying the man I love in his workplace is really meaningful to me.” Erm. Can’t say I ever really considered getting married at work, and honestly, can’t say it would ever appear on my to-do list.
Tipping Etiquette…
Most people travel at some point through the holidays—either to go “home” or to get away from it all—and the topic of tipping is bound to come up. The word “tip” is said to come from pub owner that use the acronym on a box, meaning “To Insure Promptness”. Likewise, tipping isn’t mandatory but is to be thought of as a reward for prompt and attentive service.
