Holiday Bowl…
Friday turned out to be a day where little work and a lot of play was being had by the team members of my division. We worked for a few hours in the morning, and then around noon walked over to the cafe to watch some of senior management elves wrap some gifts blindfolded. There was also a baked goods contest that involved most of the company’s employee’s. And then around 2PM, we all headed over to a local bowling alley to make some strikes and have some fun.
Bowling isn’t something I do very often. My friends and I bowled a little when we were in high school and Wifey™ and I went bowling a couple of years ago, but other than that, I don’t bowl very often. Our teams were purely random—meaning that you found out which team you were on based on the number you pulled out of a hat. I scored somewhere in the middle, which was fine with me. I was just happy to hit something and that what I hit were pins and not people.
Overally, it was a fun way to relieve some holiday stress.
