Food Combinations…
Does anyone else think Taco Bell has gone a little crazy with some of their menu items? Seems to me that they’re just taking ordinary menu items and sticking them inside other menu items lately, just for the sake of “creating” something new. The latest was that tostada wrapped in a flour tortilla. And then there’s the taco wrapped in a gordita or something. I’m waiting for them to come up with the ultimate taco bell feast—just everything on their menu wrapped together to form some monolith of a product that you need to have loaded into your car.
Of course, Pizza Hut has a pizza with little, cheesy breadsticks attached to it and Burger King recently came out with their chicken fries, which someone described as looking like “fried tampons”. There’s a visual.
As my grandpa used to say, “it all ends up in the same chute”, as he’d mash all of his food into one big pile on his plate. Ugh. Yeah, but I like to actually taste the different foods. Crazy old man.
