Reliving Those Good Ole Days…

As you can tell, I got that relationship poll to work…did it last night, I guess their server was really busy, but the code finally came out.
Today was “ugly shirt day” at work. Quite a few people arrived in the ugliest shirts that they could find, or buy from the Goodwill store. Some people, even actually owned these god awful shirts. It funny seeing so many bright colors in an office of usually business looking people.
Afterwards we all got together at a local bar, and had a contest for the ugliest shirt…the editor in chief of our magazine won…his really was the worst shirt. Lots of red, and blue and stripes.
Later on tonight I’m going to see some old friends from elementary school. I’ve known them since the first grade, and lost touch for a few years. Don, my friend, moved away in the sixth grade and then came back during high school, expecting us to pick up where we left off. He remembers everything, I remember nothing about the old times. Don moved away right after high school, and again we lost touch for the last eight years, and then all of a sudden he moved back again, wanting to pick up right where we left off. Well, I’ve moved on since those times, and, while we are still friends, we are never going to best friends like we used to be. We’ve moved in different directions….I’ve gone the career direction, while he was living the college life the last few years. I can’t stay up till the morning anymore, I can’t just get drunk for fun anymore…I feel old. We get together though from time to time for dinner, he recalls all the old times back in elementary school, most of which I can’t remember. Oh well, some friends are for a lifetime, which I don’t mind…as long as we can move on and live in the present. Elementary school was a long time ago, and ALOT of things have happened to me since that time…I don’t really want to go back…
Well, gotta go…off to dinner…I’m not really hungry…I think I’m getting a flu or stomach flu…everytime I eat, I get really sick.
