Plays Well With Others

House hunting …

My Horoscope for Today*:
Judging by the way that people sometimes talk about Geminis, you might think that Geminis were total ditzes. Of course, this is far from the truth, as you could prove today by tightening up the loose ends on a plan and setting it in a firm direction. Stick to it, Gemini. This evening, relax with your favorite honey and maybe even talk about that late vacation you both want to take.

I woke up this morning with the worst allergy. I was sneezing, wheezing, sniffling, runny nose, water eyes … I hate that. So I took a pill … it said something about allergies on it, and now I’m a walking zombie. It’s not supposed to make me drowsy, but I feel like shit.

The power went out today for no apparent reason. One second I’m sitting watching some television, the next I’m sitting in a silent room. Don’t you hate when the power goes out. I didn’t have anything big planned for today, just a quiet day at home. Well, I guess I did get the quiet day at home.

I decided to get dressed and take a drive to my new place of employment. I’ve been looking for a faster way to get to the new job, and I found it today. Seems there is this overpass type of deal that cuts past the city streets and practically leads me to the door. So I’m pretty excited about this new discovery.

I also decided to stop by a new housing development in the area, and check out the prices of a new condo/townhouse. The smallest was a 2 bedroom/2 bath for between $215,000 and $270,000, which is a pretty good deal for the Bay Area … it’s a ripoff anywhere else. Since I have to move anyway, I’m looking into buying a condo and then renting out the second bedroom. The community is nice, brand new development made up of homes, and townhomes/condos. I’ll have to look into it a little more and see if its something I want to jump into.

Has anyone watched a show called “Freaks and Geeks”? I kind of like the show … sort of the new, funkier Wonder Years. It really brings the 80’s back when you watch the show. I consider the 80’s my decade, because it’s the first full one I lived through, being born in 1973. I can barely believe a second decade is coming to an end. Don’t get me started on my 80’s memories …

Question of the Day:
I’ve given up on the question of the day for now … no one seems to be answering it anyhow, and its too much work for m to think of them.
