Lego my … erm … lego I
Lego my … erm … lego
I was given a gift today by the director of my department. Each of us were given a small box of legos. You know, one of those single project types of things. Mine was a small car. It was cool. I have it on my shelf. I’ll take a webcam shot of it on Monday.
Legos were my most favorite toy in the world when I was young. I even had the Lego box to put them in and all the Lego land pieces, with the streets. I’d usually build houses because at the time I wanted to be an architect. I had the little people and I’d build them cars to drive from house to house … it was fun.
Eventually, I outgrew the legos and I believe my grandmother got rid of them. It’s too bad really. I’d love to have them, even if t give them to someone else. Oh well … what ever happened to those childhood toys of mine. I bet they’d be worth something now.
I did recently find a whole box of Topps football cards from 1982 or so. I should get them looked at … I never even played with them. I was given them, put them in a box and that’s where they’ve been for the last twenty years.
Oh well …
