Voy a Viajar a Nueva York …
My Horoscope for Today*:
You should get some heavy stuff out of the way as early as possible. At work, you may feel as if you do nothing but deal with numbers, but you do it so well and so quickly that people count on you to do it. Later, you are more your characteristic lively self and will want to fill your place with lively, talkative people. If your mate or partner holds back, turn the subject to something that you know he or she really cares about. After guests leave, be sure to share some intimate time with the one you are most interested in. He or she will feel likewise.
So my horoscope says that I should spend some intimate time with the one I’m most interested in … but when I opened my eyes there was no one there. That’s the current state of my love life … non existent … can anyone sympathize?
Tonight I learned the word viajar, pronouced VYA-HAR, which means “to travel” in spanish. Voy a viajar a Nueva York … or I will travel to New York … that’s what I told my spanish teacher as the reason I would miss next weeks class. We are still in the simple terms anyhow … three hours of really basic stuff.
So I was going over my intinerary for New York, and realized that the MTV Music Awards are happening while I’m there … so perhaps I’ll be able to catch a few celebrities on their way in … of course thats the same night as my Broadway show, so we’ll have to see how much I can squeeze in.
Those shows are both on 9/9/99 … .all four nines in a row … spooky. Some say that is the first real Y2K day … supposedly all the computers are set to reset on that day … so if the world ends or something, I’ll be in New York. I’d hate to return and not be able to tell you all about my trip, because the computers are all broken.. yikes.
Do any of you remember your first crush in school? Mine first serious crush was in third grade, and she was new to our school. Her name was Evita Sandoval, and she was really cute … who knows what happened to her. It would be nice to see her now and find out whats going on … We went to elementary school in South City and then she moved away in sixth grade. That was the end of that.
