Interviewed and Waiting …
My Horoscope for Today*:

I logged into my journal tonight and was surprised that it had been so long since I had signed on and filled in a journal entry. So I’ll try to fill you in on all the juicy details of my life for the last three days.
Yesterday I went for the interview at the internet startup I wrote about in my last entry. A very cool place … shag carpeting and all. Yes, the television room has a shag carpet … newly installed. It’s one of those hip, young, cool type of places to work. Everyone wears jeans and comfortable clothes, and are pretty much cool people. So how do I fit in to the picture … well, I’m willing to work hard, if that matters. I’ve never been the hip trendy type … but I’ll do whatever it takes to get the phat paychecks some of these people are getting. I’ll have to take a course in trendy-ness. So my former coworker interviewed me … we sat outside, indian style and pretty much gossiped about my current job, since she used to work there. Tomorrow I have to call up her boss and the HR lady … wish me luck.
Monday night was Political Science night … woohoo, are you so jealous of me. We talked all about the Constitution and Congressional Commitees … and did we ever. Then we watch a video titled the 30 Second President. About an hour long. I nearly fell of my desk with boredom. I’m just not used to school anymore … I think we all reach an age when we can’t deal with school anymore.
Today was the most boring day of my life at work. Absolutely nothing to do for eight hours. I sat and sat and sat and had nothing to do. The day went by very slowly … my highlight was watching some baby squirrels leave the nest for the first time. There were three tiny squirrels and they basically came out just a tiny bit to find their way around then after an hour or so, they went in and stayed. They were kind of cute if you ask me.
I think I finally figured out the RealAudio thing. After figuring out it was the microphone that was the problem, not the programs, I’m now able to record RealAudio. Not that I’ll actually be doing it anytime soon … well, we’ll see.
Question of the Day:
I’ve given up on the question of the day for now … no one seems to be answering it anyhow, and its too much work for me to think of them.
